My Story
My Name is Nafyad Getu Dhugaasaa. I was graduated from Haramaya University School of Medicine by Doctor of medicine degree (MD) on 2017.
I worked as General medical practioner and lecturer at Haramaya university college of health and medical sciences for 5 years . in addition to my regular activities as Physician and lecturer , I have been involved in leadership activities for which I served as inpatient associate medical director at Haramaya University specialized and compressive hospital from 2018-2019 with appreciable leadership quality and great contribution for inpatient care.
Above all I have been teaching our community on communicable and non-communicable diseases through social media platform (Facebook page, Telegram channel and YouTube) for which I got more than 600,000 followers on Facebook and around 190,000 YouTube channel subscribers.
I have published the first and pioneer health tip book called “Faaya Fayyaa” by Afaan Oromoo which is widely distributed and sold over 35 countries.
I worked as Medical Journalist at Ethiopian Press agency Bariisaa magazine from 2020-2022.
Currently I am working as Physician and General manager at Dr Nafyad Clinic and Yad Media Consultancy.
